<br />
Repurposed Arts has joined forces with GreenWorks, a stellar environmental organization dedicated to cleaning up the environment, river water quality, youth development and all around environmental awesomeness!<br />
<br />
We have started using the trash collected in GreenWorks' street and nature clean ups to be used towards art materials for this mural and future sculptures. We select, wash and sanitize, and color sort the trash before it is presented as art materials. The quantity of trash collected is outstanding, sending a real message home that this is a good route for us to take for future art projects. We hope to continue this relationship and keep this trash from the landfill by making these environmental art installations to educate the public on the issues with pollution in our area.<br />
<br />
This mural was created with a summer school Enka Middle school group with YMCA<br />
<br />
We washed and color sorted the trash and then worked from an under-painting. This was the first "impressionistic" trash mural I have created. We learned a lot of lessons in this pilot program on how to approach the construction of the mural, but the kids had a lot of fun and we were all super happy with the results!<br />

<br />
Recycled Flowers were created for the 2015 Earth Day Festival hosted by the House of Balance at New Mountain on April 22nd...<br />
<br />
Kids were invited to create 3 different flower options and pre-made flower bouquets were available for interested parties to design their own bouquets to take home.<br />

<br />
This is one impacting organization with a heart of gold. This art is all about the environment. Bandon, OR is its base location and being a coastal Southern Oregon town it is in a heavy trash location for the tides bringing in debris from the Pacific ocean, especially after the tsunami in Japan.<br />
<br />
Volunteers pick up trash and assemble panels that are later added onto the sculptures at their downtown gallery and community work space. Artists residents travel 8 miles south of the downtown to the main workspace. Here Simple trash washing and sorting stations are situated around Yurts used for workspace. Main volunteers assist with the bodies and bases of the installations while lead artist and founder, Angela Pozzie, creates the heads of all of the animals and monitors the works of her understudy interns.<br />
<br />
Hundreds of thousands of pounds of trash have already been collected from the shores within a 20 mile radius of Bandon. Not only has this trash been removed from nature but it has been kept from sitting in the landfills.<br />
<br />
Here are a couple sculptures I assisted with during my artist residency with Washed Ashore in Bandon, OR.<br />
<br />
Angela Pozzie is an incredible environmental artist and it was such an honor working alongside her.<br />
<br />
Please check out their website at washedashore.org for more info!<br />
<br />
This puffin sculpture was working on by quite a few artists but in this particular photo the body of the puffin was created by this gal...<br />

<br />
After a bit of brainstorming the idea for the paper flower mural of the Carlsbad Flower Fields was born!<br />
<br />
The Flower Fields are the most breathtaking landscape of multi-colored ranunculus. When in season, the grounds are a rainbow of color that can be seen all the way from the freeway. They take great pride in educating children on conservation and offer a large variety of activities for children during the months they are open.<br />
<br />
Staying true to my recycled nature, I wanted to do some sort of mural of the Flower Fields that would last all through the year, but including a recycled activity that could spark children and adult's creativity for reusing everyday household items to make art.<br />
<br />
I decided on using recycled paper to create rolled paper flowers that could be attached to the mural that closely resemble the Flower Field's ranunculus. After presenting the idea to the board, everyone loved it and promised to begin saving their newspapers and magazines for the mural.<br />
<br />
Here are a few photos of the mural's progress.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo_HRL7vVASpPaBRSc-_sRZQBRVAw2JqycvGq9gjSgJEE4_sYeg7nYWiQbUAOr2az2LspyBA0pGd3FUoNUhH0xdict4ZYkx9XAzVfaL6RInbWngaAYttM_l_oGumyASYFI18kS2X8eLORH/s1600/photo-1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo_HRL7vVASpPaBRSc-_sRZQBRVAw2JqycvGq9gjSgJEE4_sYeg7nYWiQbUAOr2az2LspyBA0pGd3FUoNUhH0xdict4ZYkx9XAzVfaL6RInbWngaAYttM_l_oGumyASYFI18kS2X8eLORH/s320/photo-1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here we are on day 1 with my lovely little helper Brigitte, preparing the paper into color-sorted bins so that the kids could sift through and pick their favorite magazine or card-stock pages. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As you can see, I constructed the mural out of 4 4'x8' sheets of particle board, attached together with door hinges. The mural is supported by triangular braces and covered in chicken wire so that the wire "stems" of the paper flowers could be easily attached to the mural. </div>

These kids are just too cute to resist including them! I think these projects have the greatest impact on me when I see the parents and their kids working together to make art, even if its just to decorate a leaf to add to a tree. Giving people a free and fun art activity to work on together not only brings families together, but it brings the community together. This was a truly magical day in my short career as a recycled artist bringing art projects to the community.<br />

This portrait was done entirely from Tierney's trash she collected for this portrait.<br />

I have used up most of what I could find around the house, luckily some emails have been sent out and donations should be coming in soon!<br />
<br />
I wanted to post some up-close photos of the tree as I am starting to blend the colors on the "bark" to a neutral grey-tone.<br />
<br />
I am in need of small grey, silver, brown, or black trash to use as fillers for empty spaces on the tree and thin materials in the same colors to be sewn to the outside of the tree.<br />
<br />
18 days left!!<br />

I have the majority of the main branches in place and am continuing to add smaller and smaller attachments. I have begun applying avery wire to the outside of the trunk and continuing to add it to the branches. Items will be sewn onto the avery wire to fill in areas that can been seen through, add texture, and blend the colors of the "bark" so that it resembles the grey tone of real avocado trees. Branches holding the leaves and avocados will be assembled to the avery wire using coat hangers.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
I have been closely observing avocado trees and their structure. The trunks can be very large and are usually stumped to keep the size contained and from getting the tree to grow too large. For the sake of the structure of the tree I have decided to keep the trunk thick and sturdy as the tree grows in height. The trunk can split off in different directs and the branches are much thinner with lots of small arms coming off the main branches. The main and smaller branches reach up to the sky while the branches that hold the fruit drop vertically, weighted down by the avocados. The leaves splay in all directions up the entirety of the branches. The bark is a rather well blended grey tone with hints of white, brown, and black.<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here I have started with the base and the basic structure of the tree trunk. Materials used so far are a couple wooden pallets, a stool, a space heater, and a 5 gallon water jug. Now time for some branches!</div>Refurbished Rubbishhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15936362626495157239noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3310143968152981649.post-44416858618267177862012-03-28T10:18:00.000-07:002012-03-28T10:18:09.383-07:00Recycled Avocado TreeFor this year's Avocado Festival in Fallbrook, CA, I have the great pleasure of creating a recycled avocado tree sculpture in which participants in the community and festival will be encouraged to decorate their own leaves and avocado fruits for the sculpture. In the end, the sculpture will stand as the "Fallbrook Family Tree."<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Trash donations are needed for the sculpture!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Here is my "trash collecting" method. As you can see it doesn't take up a lot of space in the house. After the collection bags are full I just transfer them to a larger trash bag or bin in the garage.</div><br />

The base is an old metal spoke for a tractor or trailer found at the Vista blacksmithing studios. The "trunk" is a 3/4" diameter metal conduit pole. The branches are made of metal poles of gradated sizes used for laying concrete sidewalks. With all the pieces welded together, you have yourself a Christmas Tree!<br />

All of the materials are either found, or donated. Butcher paper was used to cover the back wall to increase the "wintery" mood. Fallen tree branches were collected and cemented into paint buckets for display. Shredded paper shavings were used as "snow." The wreaths and lights were donated for use in the window.<br />

In April of 2011 a group of volunteers for the OC Arts Center set up a booth with a free arts activity for children and parents to work on together at the San Juan Capistrano 50th Anniversary Celebration Festival. In honor of the great city's anniversary, our project became a small-scale model of old town San Juan Capistrano and the mission made out of recycled and refurbished materials donated by supporters of the OC Arts Center. The volunteer team made an outlined map of the city on a 4' x 8' piece of particle board. We cut cardboard into uniform pieces that could easily be pieced together to make a building. We also used native floral arrangements supported by floral foam donated from a local nursery. Many "trash" items were used including egg cartons, bamboo curtains, beans and birdseed, sponges, plastic cups, and other common household items. This activity educated the children about the importance and usefulness of considering recyclable items and junk as potential materials for art, along with the value of community and togetherness. By working together with all sorts of members of the community a beautiful, unique, and highly creative sculpture was made of historic downtown San Juan Capistrano. The kids loved it, we nearly ran out of space for all the buildings, cars, and trees that were being made. Check out the photos below to see how it evolved.</div><div><br />

</div><div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: left;">Now that the parade is behind us, we have many plans in store for the wave. After seeing the reaction and receiving such positive feedback on the impact of the wave, we know that there is a lot in store for us. We are very gracious for all of the help friends and family have put into this with us, and we can't wait to keep this up. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">These scupltures are not only no impact, but negative impact. With this form of art we are not only removing this waste from our earth but turning it into an influential example of how important it is to change the way we see trash, how we dispose of it, how much of it is out there, and how badly it needs to be removed from nature. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />

We would like to thank Farmers & Merchants bank for sponsoring our float entry at the Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade. We are excited to announce our first place award as well! We had wonderful volunteers walking the entire parade picking up trash along the way to help promote our Rise Against Plastic cause and we'd like to give thanks for their efforts. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We had an amazing reaction from the crowd as we drove by and feel we have reached out to many during this parade. <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Here are progress photos of the wave in different lighting. Its been a very slow process sewing the garbage on, but as it builds it becomes clearer and clearer that our efforts are worthwhile. The trash seems to float on the structure, and the directional angles that the bits are placed are giving it a nice upward motion, as though the pollution is being sucked up into the curl.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTyvHaP8g8zhp4JgO89No3efg9Kvmzvf0H280WnpzFj6pszIlgHaUZQshPN6-5v82a41hRHrWxab4ljP4vKIajoDJdoduhcBTUC09UGuRe8aLCQ3pbEfSi2YygonlefGKb9yYUoP9rWwKw/s1600/IMAG0341.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="191" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTyvHaP8g8zhp4JgO89No3efg9Kvmzvf0H280WnpzFj6pszIlgHaUZQshPN6-5v82a41hRHrWxab4ljP4vKIajoDJdoduhcBTUC09UGuRe8aLCQ3pbEfSi2YygonlefGKb9yYUoP9rWwKw/s320/IMAG0341.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We are gradually filling in the holes. We have tried to evenly space the blue and green assortments but wanted to make sure the inside was focused on the most so that the viewer will get a strong representation of our cause by walking through the barrel. </div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSLp3q1ngUWPX0BfsVEnPBNFo1K61RCmqStC0_PPWGqpIhLY3aLqwf1SsyLuu7t5Dndwljz1MLSMbKabptRr_edvbsfxdY2IsLs71SmXfUwFlV7NCHjomDrVMKRKU_7cQiRJEdZvaw6iSc/s1600/IMAG0346.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="191" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSLp3q1ngUWPX0BfsVEnPBNFo1K61RCmqStC0_PPWGqpIhLY3aLqwf1SsyLuu7t5Dndwljz1MLSMbKabptRr_edvbsfxdY2IsLs71SmXfUwFlV7NCHjomDrVMKRKU_7cQiRJEdZvaw6iSc/s320/IMAG0346.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here is the back of the wave in a more primary stage. You can see the color gradient we are forming by placing darker colors on the bottom and having the value gradually shift to lighter tones as it moves up into the white water. </div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwnMbirnkplBdysyT_KhIdIHHoddFkpQY_j50Y_hqnBsLzaB717T91LgBwanOg8qL3pGq7bltCxtr38ciR7g_Rhu5BmoQjcBCFF7ymCT8VWm7mMRny6v1JgKVAwhjxTBMN_wBcbpwPnK5N/s1600/IMAG0307.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="191" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwnMbirnkplBdysyT_KhIdIHHoddFkpQY_j50Y_hqnBsLzaB717T91LgBwanOg8qL3pGq7bltCxtr38ciR7g_Rhu5BmoQjcBCFF7ymCT8VWm7mMRny6v1JgKVAwhjxTBMN_wBcbpwPnK5N/s320/IMAG0307.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Since our greens and blues are starting to become scarce, we have decided to incorporate the large pile of black that we have separated. Adding the black is of course darkening the wave, but in turn it is giving it this grimace mood that is starting to give it a very daunting appearance. This is starting to neutralize the appearance of the color so that it does not become too cartoonish or psychedelic.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Along with blacks we are incorporating a lot of our silvers and more reflective materials onto the back of the wave so that it will shine brightly in the sun when the light catches it. This will imitate the natural effects of a wave as the ripples on the back of the wave sparkle in the sunlight.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Being our first project of this kind, we are often recognizing things we wished we had done differently or different approaches to take. If time had allowed it, it would have been nice to have hyper-sorted the colors by value and intensity and laid it out as a puzzle of sorts to basically "paint" with varieties of colored trash. That would have taken much more time than we could afford though, its crunch time as it is. There are 5 work days left until the parade!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Regardless of what we missed out on doing for this sculpture, knowing how much room for improvement there is has acted as a fiery motivation to start another project after this one. Its exciting to see how naturally devoted and immersed in this project we are. Though our studio looks like a garbage dump, we constantly compare ourselves to Charlie Brown's Pig Pen due to the flies that we have discovered fancy us after a long days work, and my dreams have even been consumed with a mixture of trash an needle nightmares, it feels good. It feels darn good. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">We feel like we are doing something worthwhile, utilizing our talents to do our part in the preservation of the planet. Every friend that has lent a hand to sew on some trash always seems to walk away with the same feeling. We are creating and involved with something powerful, disgusting, and beautiful. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">More progress photos to come soon.</div><br />

<br />
Uhaul has donated us a box truck to transport the wave and a flatbed truck to carry it in the wave. We will be having volunteers and guests of Surfrider add the final touches of the "beach" onto the trailer the day before the wave.<br />
<br />
We have been fortunate enough to be sponsored by <span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Farmers & Merchants Bank for entry into this years parade.</span><br />
<br />
We will be marketing with Surfrider with an emphasis on their "Rise Against Plastic" campaign. There will be kids dressed up as "bag monsters" in which they where a suit covered head to toe in plastic bags. The Huntington Beach Boyscouts will also be following our float with trash claws picking up any trash that the parade has left behind, an extra bonus to the environment.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Here is the banner that will be carries in front of our float on the 4th starting at 10 am on Main St in Huntington Beach</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAew7rvRodjfgAV9QggXNltXMGEFuVsGWrxPxCcNDXP0k7A5mTP9g9NVrdGJSu1E1jBBsXF3YOwqVsrplD9odr-tT0lmZSfU0n_cGn67d6LTOXIGyHWQB1lCdCHdKjAx0OCqSF-P9hnBrL/s1600/Untitled.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="114" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAew7rvRodjfgAV9QggXNltXMGEFuVsGWrxPxCcNDXP0k7A5mTP9g9NVrdGJSu1E1jBBsXF3YOwqVsrplD9odr-tT0lmZSfU0n_cGn67d6LTOXIGyHWQB1lCdCHdKjAx0OCqSF-P9hnBrL/s320/Untitled.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Below is the announcement that will be made as we pass by the parade booth, p<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">ut together by Emily Lewis, Marketing Department from F&M Bank</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"></span></div><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';">"Nothing captures the spirit of the great coastal city of Huntington Beach like an ocean wave.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Unfortunately, however, our picturesque shoreline is too often littered with empty containers, abandoned plastic bottles and other rubbish. Beautiful ocean waves no longer crash against a pristine coastline in Huntington Beach – and elsewhere.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';">But with the help of the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of our oceans, lands and beaches, public awareness is growing when it comes to the pervasive effects of plastics and other discarded items on our shoreline.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: small;">And now, Farmers & Merchants Bank, an organization that stands firmly behind its belief in green practices and sustainability, is honored to sponsor the Huntington Beach/Seal Beach Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation in presenting this inspiring, one-of-a-kind sculpture created by artists Hannah Cosner and Tierney Moses.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: small;">Not only embodying the iconic city of Huntington Beach, but also reminding beachgoers of the need to recycle and properly dispose of garbage, the “Tidal Wave of Trash” sculpture is the byproduct of Andre Faubert’s 30/30 experiment in which he collected litter from the coastline of Huntington Beach for one hour a day, 30 days straight - collecting nearly 600 pounds of garbage. If the “Tidal Wave of Trash” represents the work of one man in 30 days, think of what we could accomplish together if each of us were to make the same commitment.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman';">F&M supports the Huntington Beach/Seal Beach Surfrider Foundation and salutes the organization in its mission to raise awareness of the harmful effects of beachside litter.</span></span><br />

<br />
We have some very exciting developments with the wave. We found a name for it! Andre has deemed the trash monster, "the Tidal Wave of Trash." We feel really happy with this name. It represents its nature very strongly, giving it an easily recognizable title with a very new concept behind it.<br />
<br />
Today we were interviewed by the Huntington Independent newspaper. Their article should be released around Thursday, we'll post newspaper examples up once we receive a copy.<br />
<br />
We have been adding a lot of color to the wave. It feels really good to see it develop. The evolution of the sculpture seems to be forming so naturally. Still, any problems we seem to run into are easily figured out, and are often far less of a problem than we assumed, sometimes even a happy accident.<br />
<br />
Here are a couple examples of our first layers at more of a close up view. We are finding so many of the same items over and over. It seems like there are thousands of bottle caps and straws, along with tons of Starbucks cups, plastic water bottles, and Capri Sun juice packs. It really makes us wonder why with all of our knowledge and technology to create plant-based, biodegradable materials that those resourses have yet to be utilized with these major companies.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Here is an up-close view of some of the whitewash we have sewn onto the chicken wire.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimGHBSknYTlMmpFfyWZ8Q8ej6bijE1F_OT2rffukRs48nrVHHr3PWZsOhiVPd1lT7GtWHwcqDZEZ1suexcuZg2qFJakzCh7DweOqWx6czsZx9xGEzuuPDd9aQ7H7hOxlOZVF2roAqfVzN9/s1600/IMAG0310.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="191" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimGHBSknYTlMmpFfyWZ8Q8ej6bijE1F_OT2rffukRs48nrVHHr3PWZsOhiVPd1lT7GtWHwcqDZEZ1suexcuZg2qFJakzCh7DweOqWx6czsZx9xGEzuuPDd9aQ7H7hOxlOZVF2roAqfVzN9/s320/IMAG0310.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here we are starting to add color to the back of the wave by sewing on the blue and green trash to the clear layer we stapled onto the wooden base.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh4bGt6yFCgdC7gCqOkTdSNmgeIyPbzuk8StQI8JoXhZkq3Cs2Z1E0iIVfcPyQUSKbnF18lmcsr9dwrD1ij0SsP-No5lZ-oOxMZRBdC1tIlEAWFnHLx0XAhd3mhr35B50NzFeGPWam2M7p/s1600/IMAG0313.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh4bGt6yFCgdC7gCqOkTdSNmgeIyPbzuk8StQI8JoXhZkq3Cs2Z1E0iIVfcPyQUSKbnF18lmcsr9dwrD1ij0SsP-No5lZ-oOxMZRBdC1tIlEAWFnHLx0XAhd3mhr35B50NzFeGPWam2M7p/s320/IMAG0313.jpg" width="191" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Its amazing how familiar all of these materials we are working with are to us. We have consumed and used most all of the items we are working with. Its crazy to be so engulfed by the items we see everyday, but its sicken to know that it was all found on our precious beaches.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbA3JUZYFZP4gpvlqawdHWTgaYJbBDwbFETPhyphenhyphenWjkHo0fXQjbePRWvm40BPWGj8t1UINxGaJ9hjsdSBT5xH_U1OeHorVlNrTH0QnKhbG5aV_HyKdeEFBhUZsjB2UZ2Sq3hufx6OAgBWXaY/s1600/IMAG0314.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbA3JUZYFZP4gpvlqawdHWTgaYJbBDwbFETPhyphenhyphenWjkHo0fXQjbePRWvm40BPWGj8t1UINxGaJ9hjsdSBT5xH_U1OeHorVlNrTH0QnKhbG5aV_HyKdeEFBhUZsjB2UZ2Sq3hufx6OAgBWXaY/s320/IMAG0314.jpg" width="191" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">With each piece meticulously sewn on, its starting to feel like an enormous quilt we are creating. Each piece is being placed like a mosaic in order of color and value to stick to the true nature of a real wave.</div>Refurbished Rubbishhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15936362626495157239noreply@blogger.com0
